Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about shipping, production, delivery times, materials, personalization, and your order from Mano et Arte.

How long do production and delivery take?

Many items are only manufactured specifically for you after your order has been placed.

Production takes up to 5 business days, but in many cases, it is completed earlier. Subsequently, delivery usually takes 1–3 business days, depending on the destination country and the respective shipping service provider.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Shipping is currently free to Germany, USA, Canada, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, and Portugal.

For other available delivery countries, the respective shipping costs will be transparently displayed at checkout.

What does DDP mean?

For deliveries to selected countries, import duties, customs fees, and taxes can be accounted for and processed before delivery.

This usually means there are no additional customs or import costs upon delivery in these countries.

Whether an order can be sent as a DDP delivery depends on the respective destination country.

Where are the products manufactured?

Wherever possible, products are manufactured at a production site as close as possible to the delivery address.

This shortens delivery routes and avoids unnecessarily long transports. The specific production location may vary depending on the product and delivery country.

Are the products in stock?

Most items are only manufactured after your order has been placed.

This production principle allows for smaller series, changing designs, and a wide selection without the need for extensive inventory.

Can I personalize a mug?

Yes. For selected products, you can customize the design.

After selecting a personalizable item, you will be redirected to a separate personalization view. There, depending on the product, you can, for example, change texts, names, or years, and adjust the font, text color, and position.

The available design options depend on the respective motif and product.

How does personalization work?

For personalizable items, after selecting the product, open the corresponding design area.

There you can directly adjust the designated elements, such as text, names, font, text color, and position. Depending on the product, further design options may be available.

The preview helps you to check your personalization before completing the order.

Please check the spelling, names, numbers, and years carefully, as the product will then be manufactured according to your design.

Are the mugs dishwasher safe?

Most ceramic mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe.

For particularly long-lasting color brilliance, gentle cleaning with mild washing programs and moderate temperatures is nevertheless recommended.

For products with differing care instructions – such as enamel mugs – you will find the relevant information directly in the respective product description.

Why might colors vary slightly?

Colors can appear differently depending on the screen, display settings, lighting, and material.

Especially with watercolor illustrations and subtle color gradients, minor deviations between the screen display and the finished product can therefore occur.

What happens if an item arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact Mano et Arte as soon as possible.

Three to four photos of the damaged item and the packaging are helpful. This allows the damage to be quickly checked and a straightforward solution to be arranged.

A return of the damaged item is generally not necessary.

Do I receive tracking information?

Yes. Every shipped order receives a tracking number.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive the shipping information and can view the delivery status via tracking.

Is every design available on every product?

No. Not every illustration is automatically offered on all available products.

Some designs, due to their composition, proportions, or detailed drawing, work particularly well on a specific mug shape or as an art print. Therefore, it is individually decided for each design which products are best suited.
