Materials & Quality
Calm design doesn't end with the motif
Many Mano et Arte illustrations thrive on fine color gradients, open areas, and a deliberately calm visual effect. That's why material, print quality, and surface play an important role in how they are perceived in everyday life.
Ceramic Mugs
The classic ceramic mugs are made of glossy white ceramic with a clear, smooth surface and a pleasant feel.
Many motifs are produced using high-quality sublimation printing, resulting in durable prints with fine color gradients and clear detail.
Slim Porcelain Mugs
The slim porcelain mugs have a somewhat finer and more elegant shape with a light, calm appearance.
Here too, the motifs are created with high detail sharpness and fine color nuances, allowing illustrations and minimalist designs to appear particularly clear.
Enamel Mugs
The enamel mugs have a characteristic light form and a fine silver-colored rim, which further emphasizes their slightly nostalgic character.
The coated surface ensures a durable and color-intensive display of the motifs.
Small irregularities are inherent to enamel material and make each mug slightly individual.
Color Effect & Print
Many designs are deliberately created with open areas, soft transitions, and subdued color tones. As a result, illustrations on ceramic often appear calmer and more natural than on highly glossy or overloaded surfaces.
Colors may appear slightly different depending on the material, light, and screen display.
Production
Production takes place – if possible – at the closest possible production site to the respective delivery address.
This often shortens delivery routes and reduces unnecessary transport.
This system allows for flexible international production without extensive warehousing.
Design for Everyday Life
Many motifs are consciously designed for everyday objects – not just as decoration, but as calm companions in daily life.
The combination of illustration, material, and function is therefore central to many Mano et Arte series.
