Mano et Arte combines illustration, watercolor, photography, and calm design into small series and everyday objects with a deliberately restrained visual language.
The idea behind Mano et Arte
Many motifs arise from the combination of travel impressions, architecture, nature observations, and atmospheric illustration. Instead of fast trend graphics, the focus is on calm color palettes, open compositions, and clear visual impact.
It's less about loud effects and more about motifs that remain pleasing even after a long time and naturally integrate into everyday life.
Watercolor, Illustration & Photography
The design combines different techniques: classic watercolor textures, digital illustration, photographic impressions, and minimalist compositions with plenty of white space.
Many motifs are created in small thematic series – for example, cityscapes, lighthouses, animal illustrations, or botanical works.
Small series instead of mass production
Mano et Arte does not see itself as a classic large shop with interchangeable motifs. Many designs are deliberately created in smaller series with their own color world and individual atmosphere.
This keeps the design more personal, calmer, and more strongly connected to the respective motif.
International Production
Production takes place – where possible – at a production site as close as possible to the respective delivery country.
This often shortens delivery routes and reduces unnecessary transport. At the same time, this system allows for flexible international production without large inventory management.
Material & Everyday Life
Many motifs are deliberately created for objects that are used daily: ceramic mugs, larger coffee cups, enamel mugs, or wall art.
The design should not only be decorative but also remain pleasant and timeless in daily use.
