A Design Becomes Personal
Selected Mano et Arte products can be designed directly in the shop with your own name, a short greeting, or a personal message.
You can identify customizable items by the corresponding note in the product title or by the button "Personalize item" on the product page.
How Personalization Works
Open the product page of the desired item and click on "Personalize item". Then you can edit the provided text and check the result directly in the preview.
- Enter your desired text or replace the existing text
- Check spelling and display in the preview
- Confirm personalization
- Add the finished designed item to the shopping cart
What is seen in the confirmed preview will be printed.
Which Text Will Be Used?
The text visible in the preview after personalization is completed will be used for production. If an existing text is not changed, it remains part of the design and will be printed accordingly.
Therefore, please check before adding to the shopping cart:
- Spelling and orthography
- Uppercase and lowercase letters
- Spaces and punctuation
- Names, dates, and years
- Position and readability of the text
How Many Characters Are Possible?
The possible number of characters varies depending on the product and design. The information on the respective product page or directly in the personalization window is always decisive.
Spaces and punctuation marks are counted. Shorter texts often appear clearer on mugs and leave more room for the design.

Names, short greetings, small dedications, years, or personal messages within the specified character count.
👁 Check Preview
The preview shows how the entered text will appear on the finished product.
What Can Be Changed?
Only the text fields enabled for personalization can be edited. The actual design, its colors, and the other image elements remain unchanged.
Font type, font color, alignment, and position may already be fixed depending on the product, so that the desired text harmoniously integrates into the respective design.
After Ordering
After completing the order, the confirmed design will be used for production. An additional submission of the desired text by e-mail is not required.
Technical Difficulties
If the personalization button is not displayed or the preview does not load completely, please first refresh the product page. Using a different browser or temporarily disabling an ad or content blocker may also help.
