Between forest idyll and a touch of dystopia

The photograph was taken in 2022 as part of a series of shots in which paths, architecture and seemingly casual situations become small stories.

The massive bridge almost divides the image like a threshold. The path leads underneath and disappears among the trees. Exactly where, remains pleasantly unclear.

The lettering YOU FIRST. gives the motif a second layer: dry, minimalistic, and with a hint of black humor. An image for people who don't have to rush ahead at every invitation.
